A chunky Edwardian sterling silver curb chain paired with a large vintage 'ancient coin' pendant. The C.1900 Edwardian chain has the original dog clip, so it is easy to add and switch pendants/charms if desired. This versatile chain consists of graduated sized links, and each link has an English standard sterling silver hallmark. The vintage 'ancient coin' pendant is double sided. One side shows the water nymph Arethusa with four dolphins swimming around her, and the other side depicts a racing four horse chariot and a few symbols of warrior outfits; the original ancient coin of this motif is from Syracuse Italy circa 415-405 BC.
The pendant and chain offer a strong statement look together. Overall they are both in great condition.
